Beissbarth’s Q.Lign 3D wheel alignment system has now achieved a major new milestone, receiving official approval from BMW. This latest endorsement further cements the Q.Lign’s position as one of the most advanced and trusted wheel alignment systems on the market, joining previous approvals from Mercedes-Benz and the Volkswagen Audi Group.

Whilst recognition from the Volkswagen Audi Group in 2024 and the more recent Mercedes-Benz approval already demonstrated the system’s ability to meet the highest OEM standards. BMW’s approval now confirms that the Q.Lign not only delivers repeatable accuracy but is also currently the only wheel aligner on the market that fully complies with the latest BMW technical specifications straight out of the box. For workshops, this provides a straightforward solution to meet the required standards without unnecessary detours.
A key element of this approval is the integration of a digital steering wheel level within the Q.Lign software. This allows the steering wheel position to be measured objectively and documented throughout the alignment process. For workshops, this brings immediate benefits, reducing the likelihood of errors, identifying misalignment issues earlier, and minimising the need for time-consuming rework.

As with all Beissbarth systems, the Q.Lign uses only OEM-supplied alignment data from vehicle manufacturers worldwide. This ensures every alignment is carried out using precise, up-to-date specifications, delivering consistent and reliable results across a wide range of vehicles.
The Q.Lign’s innovative web-based design is another key factor behind its growing list of OEM approvals. As the world’s first fully web-based wheel aligner, it removes the need for traditional trolleys, PCs, and printers. The system can be accessed via tablets, smartphones, smart TVs, or computers, allowing technicians to control and monitor alignments from anywhere in the workshop. Reports can also be instantly shared and printed across the network, improving workflow efficiency and saving valuable space.
Ease of use and technician convenience are central to its design. Four integrated OLED displays provide real-time alignment values directly beneath the vehicle, enabling uninterrupted adjustments to toe, camber, and caster. When paired with Beissbarth’s Q.Grip or magnetic wheel clamps, the system offers fast, accurate, and repeatable measurements every time.
In addition to its performance, the Q.Lign stands out for its compact and fully mobile construction. Powered by long-life, fast-charging lithium-ion batteries, it can be used in virtually any workshop environment. This flexibility makes it one of the most adaptable and space-efficient 3D alignment systems available.
The system also supports ADAS calibration when used alongside Beissbarth’s Q.DAS ADAS calibration rig, ensuring workshops can meet the increasing demands of modern vehicle safety systems.

For BMW applications, the Q.Lign is available with dedicated quick-clamp options designed for precise, run-out-free measurements on original BMW rims and alignment holes, as well as magnetic clamps for universal use across both OEM and aftermarket rims. Both configurations are fully approved for warranty work, giving workshops complete confidence in their equipment.
With official approval now spanning BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and VAG brands, the Beissbarth Q.Lign is rapidly becoming the alignment system of choice for OEM-compliant workshops and dealerships.
