Straightset prioritises workshop safety. Non-pressurised drainers reduce the risks associated with pressurised waste oil systems while still allowing safe and efficient waste oil collection and discharge.

Are the units easy to move around the workshop?

Yes. All Straightset waste oil drainers are fitted with wheels and lockable castors, making them easy to manoeuvre and secure during use.

Do the waste oil drainers have oil level indicators?

Yes. All Straightset waste oil drainers are fitted with oil level indicators to help technicians monitor capacity and avoid overfilling.

Can the collection bowl be height adjustable?

What is the difference between the ST500 and the ST500/P?

The ST500 requires a pump that can be purchased separately. The ST500/P is a mobile pump-away waste oil drainer with an internal mounted air-operated pump. Both have the same 95-litre capacity.

What are the benefits of the internal pump?

The integrated pump allows technicians to transfer waste oil quickly and efficiently without relying on a separate wall-mounted pump.

Why is the ST400 oil drainer different?

Unlike the ST500 and ST500/P, the ST400 is designed for suction-based oil extraction and includes a variety of adaptors for different applications for vehicles without drain plugs. Also useful for transmissions and gearboxes.

What is the advantage to suction drainage?

Vehicle manufacturer tests proved that suction draining removed more solid deposits from the sump than conventional gravity draining.
