ADAS Calibration Equipment

ADAS Calibration Solutions

Future-proof your workshop with the right ADAS calibration equipment.

As Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) become standard on modern vehicles, accurate calibration has become an essential service for independent garages, bodyshops and dealerships.

From windscreen replacement and wheel alignment through to suspension repairs and accident damage, many vehicle repairs now require ADAS recalibration to ensure safety systems perform exactly as the manufacturer intended.

At Straightset, we don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Every workshop is different. Before recommending equipment, we take the time to understand:

  • The makes and models you regularly service
  • Your existing diagnostic equipment
  • Available workshop space
  • Your budget
  • Whether you're introducing ADAS for the first time or expanding your current capability

This allows our ADAS specialist partner to recommend the most suitable package rather than selling unnecessary equipment.

ADAS Calibration Equipment FAQs

What is ADAS?

ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) refers to electronic safety features such as lane assist, adaptive cruise control, emergency braking, traffic sign recognition, parking assistance & more.

Why do ADAS systems need calibrating?

After repairs such as windscreen replacement, wheel alignment, suspension work or accident repairs, sensors and cameras may require recalibration to ensure they operate correctly.

Which vehicles require ADAS calibration?

Most modern vehicles now include ADAS features. The number continues to increase every year. We suggest referring to vehicle manufactures guides to determine when a calibration is required.

How much workshop space do I need?

Space requirements vary depending on the equipment and the vehicles being calibrated. We can advise on the most suitable system for your available workshop space. Some of the 360 camera calibrations can require a large indoor area.

Can I upgrade my existing diagnostic equipment?

In many cases, yes. Depending on your current equipment, software upgrades or additional calibration equipment may be all that's required.

Which ADAS system is right for my workshop?

This depends on the vehicles you service, your workshop layout, your existing equipment and your budget. We'll recommend the most suitable solution following an initial consultation.

What equipment is required?

Entry Level – A diagnostic tool that enables dynamic calibrations to be completed and provides clear, customer-friendly calibration reports.

Mid Level – A diagnostic tool, plus a static calibration rig for front windscreen cameras and front radar systems, along with a selection of rear camera calibration targets.

High Level – A diagnostic tool, plus a static calibration rig for front windscreen cameras and front radar systems, with additional accessories to support 360° camera, night vision, and laser sensor calibrations.

Do you install the equipment?

Yes. We partner with a professional ADAS company that offer professional installation, commissioning and operator training.

Do you provide training?

Yes. Our ADAS partner ensures your team understands how to operate the equipment safely and correctly, and can also arrange IMI Approved ADAS training.
